I don't expect the impact on those games to be real meaningful. You will probably notice some changes such as extra management options and such, but other then that I don't expect all that much.

I wish it was available now. I bet lots of people will be glued to battle.net website refreshing to see if there's a signup for beta. By the way, did you notice the beta opt-in option while signing up to Battle.net 2.0?

I heard that Blizzard might start charging for Battle.Net. I really hope that isn't true, but even if they do charge for it, I hope they upgrade their infrastructure so it isn't so laggy.

I've died many times in Diablo II thanks to the lag spikes that are ever-present.

If they charge for bnet, I will stop playing their games. Also, while my hypothetical dollars won't be missed, I wouldn't miss them as well.

I have played too much bnet, for free in the past, to start paying, especially after being assraped financially by WoW... oh... what was I thinking??!
