Codename Rapture Still Heavily In Development

"In August 2005, it was announced that Square Enix were working on a new MMORPG, which they have entitled Rapture. This is just a codename for now though, as they haven't really released anything else about the game.

Many fans presume that this secret (or not so secret) project is just a front for the sequel to Final Fantasy XI, which Yoichi Wada has confirmed is currently in development. At an investor conference on the 8th of March, Wada claimed that Square Enix are hard at work on the follow-up title to Final Fantasy XI and given that Rapture is the only known MMORPG that they're currently working on, it's not illogical to put two and two together in this instance."

the link said it is for PS3 and PC u should put the 360 in it as well because its a MMO and i believe it will come to 360 as well.

2 - I still have high expectations for this, which might be the only MMORPG I might play this generation.
Yet back then I thought I could get my hands on this game before 2008.

I guess there are three explanations for the lengthy delay:

1) It's the new Square Enix policy

2) The game is going to be so massive, they want to fine tune everything

3) They want to milk Final Fantasy XI as long as they can.

I can't believe it was so long ago that they initially announced this game.
