StarCraft 2 Lead Dev: We're in the final stretch

Dustin Browder, Lead Developer of StarCraft 2, today made an effort to calm down the StarCraft 2 community. He talked about the beta, release date, battle reports and encouraged people to hang in there, saying that "we're in the final stretch".

That's funny you should say that! I am usually quite a patient guy, and just cruise along life and seeing films, video games or comics come up at good times. This is the first time since I was a kid that I have been so emotionally invested =P

Despite using the words "emotionally invested", I am quite confident in my sexuality =P

I personally like the added beta comment (Q3), since it gives us a small insight into how strict the NDA *might* be when the game is released.

Yeah, the question is if they will have a month or so in the start where there will be more strict rules applied to it...

I mean, it's very possible that they will go with that policy all the way through, but if they start invites in small scale, they could have an embargo on info for a while first...

Way back in time they used to announce release dates and such far in advance. I don't know if they have ever been able to make it in time even once. Still I am not so sure what I prefer: no dates or dates that are probably not going to hold...

8 - Blizzard, one of the best PC game developer.
My most anticipated PC games are made by Blizzard. I just can't wait for this game to come out. I remember late nights at the office playing this game and later on Diablo 2. I also remember getting into the Warcraft 3 beta. I hope I get into this game's beta. I still remember that with one copy of Starcraft, you could play multi-player with a bunch of friends. I ends up buying a copy after playing a game or two with my friend. Diablo 2, I end up buying 2 copies, one for the office and one to play at home. Those were the days.

Final stretch sounds good, but I wonder for how long they will stay in it though.. =/
