New Gears of War for Windows Patch Released

Quite recently, all Gears of War PC players were getting a "You cannot run this game with modified executable code, please reinstall" error. The solution was to set your clock back to sometime before January 27th 2008.

This newly released patch fixes the problem.

I still can't get past Act II. The game has a runtime error at that point.

Gears of War for Windows is known to crash for a lot of people. Have you tried searching around on the Official Forums?

Needless to say, I never had a crash on Gears PC...However, I did get stuck in a few places in campaign.
