Rumour: Battlefield Heroes is coming to the PlayStation 3

The free MMO, Free Realms, is coming to PS3 via PSN so I would consider the possibility of BH appearing in the same way more than just a "pipe dream".

I prefer Bad Company to COD4. However, the campaign in COD4 is better than in BC. BC has better multiplayer modes.

but, they are equally as good as each other in execution. I prefer BC only because it reminds me of those '70's buddy war movies like Kelly's hero's and more recently Three Kings. COD4 on the other hand is really just a very well made war FPS. what can I say? I'm a movie guy.

Isn't Battlefield Heroes a browser based game?

Seeing as the PS3 has a browser then I'm guessing Sony has paid/made a deal with EA and Dice to make the game compatible with the PS3's browser.

PS3 owners will properly pay a small fee for downloading the game. I don't think it will be anything big. I wouldn't mind paying a small amount to play it on my PS3.

The beta went on for a couple months but it ended not too long ago. It's going to start up again soon, though.

It's a pretty good game. They just need to add more depth to the gameplay. I doubt they're going to make it too complex, though, as the game is targeted towards casuals.

Seems convenient there have been a few free XBLA games doesn't it?

If it launches on PS3 then there will be a charge for it. You'll pay your fee for a starter pack which will include the game that would be free on PC and then a bunch of content that PC owners would need to pay for. Everyone's a winner that way.

That's even if they bother to put it on PS3. I doubt they would. For one, Battlefiel Heroes has been made to run on very low end PCs so everyone can join in, so it wouldn't like too great on the PS3. Plus there's already enough (far better) multiplayer titles on the PSN, not to mention some other FPS which will be out next month.
