Leaked Battlefront 3 Vid Reveals Surprising Plot Twist?

Kotaku: Looking through that beautiful footage of Star Wars Battlefront III again and again and again this morning, I couldn't help but notice something:

It sounds like a Sith, perhaps even a hoodless Palpatine, is telling "Kenobi" to "stick to the plan" about four minutes and 55 seconds into the video. The actual quote is "Stick to the plan Kenobi."

What's this now? Could it be that LucasArts has approved another storyline that deals with the internal struggle against the darkside, this time featuring Kenobi? I haven't a clue but it does seem to show that the jedi will make some sort of appearance in the game.

I cant believe that Free Radical did such a good job at making this game after playing Haze. Just looking at the BF3 leak shows that they really did have alot of talent. Man I want to play this game online sooo bad. F*ck.

You can disagree all you want but their is no more FR and unless someone comes and buy the company, or they sell it to someone, the game's not coming out.

7 - Simply awesome, and too bad.
God, what a great looking Star Wars game. Battlefront with an actual good story as well? Lucas Arts are idiots if they do not see to it that this gets finished by someone and released pronto.

Just think, if Free Radical would not have wasted so much time and resources on squeezing out the turd that was Haze and instead focused on making this a stellar production, maybe they would still be around. Perhaps we would have one of the better Star Wars games just right around the corner from being released as well.

Shame that they did not have the foresight to see what a horrible mess Haze was all around, and what great potential SW: BF III had. They were definitely on to something with this one, but unfortunately some bad decision making cost them....and us for the time being.

8 - yup, the gaming media CRUCIFIED Free Radical,
despite the fact that they created these stellar games:

Goldeneye 64 - the title that revolutionized console FPS titles
Perfect Dark 64 - the title that further refined what started with Goldeneye
Time Splitters series - the title that proved that FPS titles could work on the PS2, with silky smooth framerates and responsive controls (Time Splitters 1 was the only launch title on the PS2 worth owning, and ran at a consistent 30fps, which was unheard of at the time)
Second Sight - one of the coolest games of last generation, with a great narrative. the controls took a minute to get used to with your psychic powers, but overall, a fantastic gaming experience.

but hey, one medicore game (and HAZE wasn't nearly the train wreck that the gaming media made it out to be; i bought it, i beat it. it was medicore, but not the worst FPS i've ever played; Legendary and Turok take that crown), and it's all over for Free Radical, and they didn't even get to redeem themselves with Star Wars Battlefront 3.

everybody gets one bad game. even the BEST developers have that one weak title in their lineup. even Bioware has the Sonic RPG, and Square-Enix has their fare share. from Kojima Productions to Insomniac, every developer has a title that could have gotten better.

but in this market, when a PS3 dev messes up ONCE (Free Radical, Factor 5), they get DESTROYED by the unforgiving gaming media.

Battlefront 3 looked BADASS, but too bad we'll never play it.

all i can do is laugh, actually. enjoy your next mediocre FPS from an ACTUAL MEDICORE developer, while a talented dev like Free Radical goes under and doesn't get a second chance. nice. thanks retards (gaming media, and sheep fanboys who believe everything that media says).
