It would be amazing if Alan Wake did come out then but its highly unlikely, My gues is Oct-Dec.

Haven't seen much of the Indy game but would be cool to see more

Alan Wake looked pretty interesting when I saw it in 2006 but I'm beginning to doubt that it can remain a relevant and competitive game in 2009/2010 or whenever it comes out.

I just want to see some gameplay footage. I don't care that the developer made Max Payne. They haven't proven their mettle in nearly 8 years. There's no proof that Alan Wake is going to be amazing. It's just hopeful gamers (and some hopeful fanboys) who are hyping up this game.

5 - Alan Wake is the only 360 title I'm looking forward to on the 360 for 2009.
I'm sure something else will come along, but so far that's it. Alan Wake is probably the only 360 game I'll buy for 2009. Nothing else is really doing it for me. Ninja Blade, no thanks. Halo Wars - nope, Starcraft will be enough RTS for me this year. The Halo expansion, maybe..depending on the price. Never had an interest in Forza, don't really do jrpg's. Lost interest in Splinter Cell after the second one. Not much else that I've seen coming for 2009. Quite frankly, I'm pretty disappointed. I hope there are some surprises waiting out there somewhere.

Without knowing anything about the game, I can't muster much interest in Alan Wake. I'm surprised that the game is getting attention at all. What is with the hype when there is no game to hype? Don't get me wrong, if I saw ANYTHING on Alan Wake that was even remotely interesting (besides the lack of information ala Cloverfield anyone?) then I'd understanding the praise. At this point though, I just don't get it.

MS really needz dis game in 2009 to stand up against ps3z amazing line up cause i doubt they have any other surprisez...i think they'll have Alan Wake along with Halo:ODST around Oct, Nov like they had gearz and fable dis year and thtz about it for 09!!!!!

I'm dumbfounded how a new IP (Alan Wake) is viewed as a savior in the video game industry. It's like almost every year a new IP comes along and sometimes it's awesome, but it never reaches that next level where people bow down to it and buy it like food. If you would have asked me I would have said this year it would be Heavy Rain just like this past year we had Dead Space. But hey, what do I know.
