Fallout 3 set for global takeover

Bethesda Softworks has announced a new partnership with Connect Entertainment, arranging for its latest bestseller Fallout 3 to be distributed across a range of emerging markets throughout the world.

Released in North America and Europe towards the end of October, the publisher's first venture with the iconic post-apocalyptic RPG licence will now be heading to 19 new regions around the globe on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.

to my platinum i can taste it.

All I have left is 50 speeches, 100 locations, Nuka Cola, all Behemoths, and 2 more bobbleheads for the 20. So close.......

I wish I shared your enthusiasm. It's hard to get gunned up to try to get all the trophies/achievements when the game freezes up every gaming session.

Bethesda should patch the the thing before they release it to a wider market. Fallout 3, as of now, needs it. Bad.

3.4 - About those freeze-ups
They seem to have gotten worse after hitting 20, but on the other hand, its like a locking slow down, eventually it "comes out" -- takes 30 seconds up to 3 minutes for me. But no major crashes, which happened to me a few times prior to this last patch.

It has only happened to me in VATS mode, it seems as if the game is loading a new horizon line or new objects in the distance, and i just jump in guns blazing. Other than that, and the occasional getting stuck in an "open" space (lots of holes it seems)- everything has been great. Compared to what I've heard happening on the PC and even my friends 360 / Fallout experience, I think this is not too bad in comparison.

Should be patched again, sooner the better.

I have this game for the PS3 and it froze once while doing the family mission. But after the latest patch I haven't had any problems. If Bethesda would have just taken 6 months to tighten the code It would be one of the best games ever. As is its still pretty damn good.

gets my vote for game of the year. to 360 owners, it will NOT lag or glitch at all if you burn it to your harddrive. i dont know if ps3 owners have the same option but if they do i strongly suggest they do that.

I'm still trying to get a hold of this game... this is the FIRST time i play a game from this genre. I think I've logged close to 8+ hours and I haven't really done anything, I finally made it a point to get a "bed" so i can get health, the enemies are very tough in this game, even stupid dogs and mole rats, they are take a lot of health from me, and there mission require you to do a lot of walking where there are lost of encounters it seems.

I'm going to keep with it, and hopefully i can get the hang of it...

Early on the enemies are tough but once you start getting newer weapons and armor and leveling up the enemies are a joke. I'm at level 9 now I can kill those stupid animals with 1 or 2 shots.
