I can highly recommend PoP: Sands of Time. It plays a bit like assassins creed (except it actually has content) You get a really nice range of acrobatic moves and the control of the character is very good, nice story and some clever ninja-like platforming puzzles.

edit: I should probably add that its not a free roaming game like assassins creed, its linear story.

Is this only for the US? I can't personally check right now, because I'm at school. Ubisoft seems to only release their on Steam in the US.
