get your facts right. Warcraft ip is the Copy of Warhammer Table top games from the 80's.

Only way to "beat" baby first MMO is to put a game on Console's , since "every other MMO u need a good spec'd PC/Mac to run it, where as WOw it can run on a crappy moldy`oldy PC/mac.

think it this way if theres 20mill+ xbox's, 17mill+ PS3' and there was a MMO that was cross plat ala FFXI u think it wouldnt be hard to beat Wow's players base?

Well SWG lost most of its fan base once they released the 2 game changing updates the CU and the NGE, SOE tried to copy elements of WoW instead of just fixing what the public was asking for, so the userbase just moved on, if you log on to the SWGemu sites ( www.swgemu.com and www.truegalaxies.com ) you will see that they have a massive userbase and that project isnt even finished yet.

That is a Dangerous claim to make

Starwars has million f fans yes but it splits up into several segments and most are not connected to an mmo.

The starwars movies has millions of fans but those dont neceseraly like videogames.

Starwars Comics are also Popular but dont necesaraly attract those into an mmo.

Gamers in generell are most on wow if they like mmos and parttime spotlight highlights like war and conan are often falling apart since most are returning to wow after some time.

I don't get myself involved in MMO's because they take a lot of time out of your life, a lot of money and for many crazy fans, even their health.

However, I think I would be very interested in giving this one a shot. I just love the Star Wars universe.

I have tried a few MMOs at launch and been very disappointed (Vanguard and AoC to name a few).
I really hope this game succeeds. I could see this taking up a lot of my time if it does.

Millions of SW fans is one thing, but millions that are also gamers that will actually put the time into paying monthly fees to play an MMO may not be as likely.

I'm keeping my eye on this game mostly because it is done by bioware. But there is probably a 20% chance that I would buy it because I don't belive I can put money into something that I won't have the time to fully take advantage of.
