Bethesda Expects New Fallout in 3 Years

Bethesda's Fallout 3 isn't even out yet, and already there's talk of when a sequel could show up -- and it's sooner than you think.

Howard then stated that three years sounds just about right, in terms of when Fallout 4 should come out.

Great Bring us more fallout . I love this franchise and to this day fallout 2 is the best game I have ever played. wonder if in 3 years it will be on a next gen console ?

yea it wasn't actually sooner than what I thought. I figured a game probably takes about 2 years now considering everyone got a grips of the development. Gears 2 and Resistance 2 were both developed in 2 years.

That's what common sense would suggest.They bought the IP so they wouldn't have just the elder scrolls.They will most likely come out with fallout 3 then 2 years later the next elder scrolls and then another 2 years and come out with fallout 4.They will probably keep doing it that way for the next 10 years.

Sweet, but 3 years, just hope the expansion packs or down loadable content will be worth it, or will we see a game of the year edition like we saw with oblivion.
