1.2 - This crap is seriously getting out of hand.
First you are required to buy three versions of the same game to experience the full story. And the thing is this trilogy does not even include the inevitable expansions that are to come. So what? We have to buy a trilogy of expansions as well?
In addition to paying for the full BNet experience? This isn't the Blizzard I know...sighs :(

No that isnt true. Could you imagine? $0.25 for a game join? LOL
But damn how much money does Activision need. They are getting around $200 Mil a month from WoW alone.

1.6 - Post #1 is a joke! If you didn't know.
.25 cents per game? There would be a lot of people wanting their money back. "ZOMG, he quit 2 mins into the game, I want my quarter back!"

I'm definitely not happy. I am somewhat okay with the whole 3 game thing since I care more about multiplayer but paying to play an RTS? Seriously????
Diablo 3 sounds more reasonable but Starcraft 2? Wow, they really want to shoot themselves in the foot bad.

Let's not jump to conclusions just yet.
Battle.net will have fees, but whether they'll be fees on significant things like a friends list has yet to be determined.
I'm betting the fees will be on minor things like colored names, special avatars, and different colors for your in-game units.

I have no evidence to support this but...
Why do I feel like this was somehow ultimately Activision's decision? I mean yes Blizzard deserves every penny of my hard earned money but I hate putting a video game into the same context as a utility bill. Seriously...

11.1 - ...
- pay for WoW character changes --Makes some sense. When you first create your character you should put a lot of effort into what you want to look like, and it isn't like having sex change operations in game make much sense anyway.
- Diablo 3 keeps kiddy graphics--- Kid graphics? I can agree on not liking the style but it is far from kiddie graphics, kiddie graphics is what a game like LBP has.
- Starcraft 2 split into 3 games--- They explained this and the reasoning is good. Splitting it in to three games allows for a more epic story for each faction and gets us deeper into the lore. Each disc has 30 missions and is a full length game.
They didn't say we have to pay to play. Some features will require a payment, this is totally fair. You're keeping your data on their servers, they have to pay to keep it running.

13 - A bit confuzzled, its still free?
So from reading the article it's going to be "Free" to play online still, but will have optional little perks that will require the yens, dollars, and euros, yes?
And the entire SC2 being split into three installments things didn't phase me too much. If it means wonders for the story, then I'm all for it. Rather not wait an extra year, but please, please don't make the combined fee over $100.

14 - Simple
Don't pay don't play, if fees are introduced and their userbase takes a dive they'll wake up.
I won't be buying Diablo III if I have to pay to play online, it's as simple as that.

"We are looking to monetize Battle.Net so that we get to keep making these games and updating features. We kind of have to.”
Yeah right.. you pretty much have to.. i can't believe they even phrased it like that.. more like..
(we pretty much have to , if we want to suck out as much possible money from our customers as possible, we are already one of the most profitable , largest surplus gaming companies around, and now,, we "pretty much have to" make you pay, for the odd new feature we add in"
Blizzard, don't do this to us, Totally not Cool.
