Well, it doesn't reassure me at all. I still have faith in the fact that they make the right decision. I agree that letting us pay 150$ for 3 campaigns might be a bit over the top.

I did not understand this paragraph very well:

"Working like expansions, you'll need all three box sets allowing you to access the full universe and play online with other gamers."

To me it gives the impression that you will need all three to be able to play online. It makes absolutely no sense for it be like that so I think it was a slip up on IncGamers part rather than a (IMO foolish) Blizzard policy.

It just means you need EXP 1 to play with others on EXP 1 mode, and you need all three parts to play with others in "Legacy of the Void" mode.

Much like either classic or BW play of SC1

@Leord: does that mean chapter 2 adds multiplayer functionality/units, stuff like that on top of the additional singleplayer campaign?

Is there any information on the time they plan between releases?

Incompatible between versions makes them expansions, not just campaign maps. If that's the case, they best have a bunch of cool new stuff for each one.

Well, the way they said it, I think they will. Especially with the pre-rendered videos, and you should have seen the awesome single player gameplay...

Sounds good to me. 30 maps per faction? Or 30 maps per game, between each faction? That's still a lot to do campaign wise.

Definitely buying this/these

I'm not too happy about this. The map community will be slip up in parts, where people will end up owning different sets of the game and in not be able to play on all maps, with all their friends, etc.
I would only see this as a good way to scare away a lot of custom mappers and a lot of players from custom maps.

However if this is not the case and players will be able to play with one another regardless of owned expansions, I would instead be happy about this game split.

It's a matter of choice. If you want the other features in the other game expansions, you go for it. Or you don't.
