World of Warcraft Interviews From GC 2008

Gamona have caught up with WoW's lead producer J Allen Brack and Lead Designer Tom Chilton at Leipzig GC. Incgamers.com are showing the full interview, which reveals some juicy new information regarding the beta:

* Blizzard are planning to open up pre-made level 80 characters on the Lich King beta
* This is so players can test out end-game content without having to level up first
* It's not known if level 80 characters will be on a new beta server, or on existing ones
* Blizzard will shortly begin the fine tuning on classes, which usually takes place towards the end of the beta
* With each patch of the beta, Blizzard aim to add a lot of new content

Incgamers.com are also regularly posting shots and videos direct from Leipzip, be sure to check it out.

1.1 - have they nerfed insane melee scaling yet?
No of course not the lead designer still plays a warrior so they have to be #1 dps, best tank and #1 in arenas for all brackets.

I'm actually really surprised they're allowing level 80 chars, they didn't have top level characters in the previous betas did they?
