Halo 2' Vista - Updated v1.01 Patch Available Now

WorthPlaying writes: Windows Vista gamers will be able to experience the epic story of "Halo 2" as Master Chief delves further into the mystery of the Covenant in the aftermath of Halo's destruction. This updated patch includes the previous fixes (removes obscure content which includes partial nudity) and now also addresses a few packaging issues that affected international players.

Is this the patch that makes the game run on XP?

No, and any patch that does so is technically illegal. Microsoft wants you to buy Vista to play it

First a Halo 1 patch, then a rumor of Halo 3 coming to PC, now a Halo 2 patch?

Any one feel a big PC Halo announcement coming on?

I think it will come anyways, I've got Halo 3 on my 360 and I still love it, such a fun game to play. The only thing which would attract me to buy any Halo game on the PC not including Halo Wars would be the map editor.

yea it is a bit odd that after all this time there's patches for two old Halo titles..

I'd love H3 on the PC, can't aim worth a damn with a pad :)

Mouse & Keyboard FTW!
