As a de facto den of indulgence where long nights have been known to stretch into even longer days, Las Vegas doesn't necessarily encourage punctuality. With Midway Games seeking to recapture the total Vegas experience in its upcoming This is Vegas, it's not entirely surprising that the game won't be sticking to its originally announced release date.

A Midway representative confirmed for GameSpot today that This is Vegas has been delayed to 2009 for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, and PC. However, it will be appearing in playable form at the E3 Media & Business Summit.

I think the previews were pretty poor and they wanted to remedy this. Though, I've not known a game where previews were pretty bad and through a delay they've redeemed themselves, but we'll see.
