I lost my expansion pack, so ordered a couple copies off of amazon. USWest server was crap last night. I don't think they were ready for the load. Hopefully Battle.net beefs up before release of D3

I actually found my battlechest at a Goodwill thrift store for 10 dollars in near mint condition.

i would recommend to download the mods for Diablo 2, i found some of them even better than the original game and more challenging.

Hell difficulty was soooo hard, I've only beaten Baal once on Hell! And I was really disappointed that there wasn't a special ending :(

starcraft and diablo never went away in terms of sales. i worked on software store for 5 years and we ALWAYS sold starcraft or diablo II copies.

this happened with the release of starcraft II also.

thats funny, I went back last weekend to try Diablo II. I found it boring and the graphics well they are dated. I wish I would have played it when it first came out instead of now.

oh well I still think D3 is going to be awesome!

9.1 - Yeah, it's sad you never played it when it first came out
But sadly it's the same with any game of its time that becomes a classic. I bet if you went back and played DooM, the original Half Life, Final Fantasy VII, they would all look extremely dated by today's standards. But they are still fun games; I guess it's just dependent on where you were during a game's lifespan...
