I am just wondering if I will ever live to see Duke Nukem Forever, I am getting very advanced in my years and I expect to die before we ever see this game. I guess it's a generational game, it will be our great grandkids that release and play the game.

Yes. And you can tell them stories about when you were a kid and how the game was promised to you for years and years. When the game finally comes out I imagine it will feel a great deal like it did when the Red Sox finally won a world series.

I wouldn't be surprised if this was another failed attempt to release the game. Personally, I don't like 3D Realms, they're arrogant and inconsiderate of their fans, who made them what they were. Saying "when it's done" as a release date for over 10 years. Even as of recently they've used the phrase "when it's done" as a release date... Come on guys... They should be doing everything they can to win over fans, not resurfacing for the 10th time with little information, no release date or even an approximation. They don't deserve their fans as far as I'm concerned.

Edit: And for a game in development this long, it looks sub par at best.
