1 - will for every one
information,go read tom,s hardware(the most trusted site for PC reviews)and anantech.com reviews about the 4800 series you will see that the 4850 beats 9800GTX and in a par or littel faster than 9800GTX+.
and you will find that 4870(299$) beats the gtx260(399$).
the guys at fudzilla and gamespot are idiots.

Even though the above post is a little fanboyish, I can't help but agree with his recommendation. Tom's Hardware, Anandtech, and Hexus are all much better at reviewing new technology than Fudzilla.

The 4850 really is beating or on par with the 9800 GTX+ in every bench mark while the 4870 is beating the GTX 260.

AMD has some really great cards out this time around, I bought one of each :).

i didn,t meant to be fanboy but i hate when people lie or hide the truth.
also i will buy the 4870 x2 :) for the ultimate porformance, and i want to see the battle between 4870 x2 and gtx 280 it will be intersting.

Why the hell is everyone using 9800GTX+ in their comments for reviews lately?

The f*cking 9800GTX+ isn't out for a few weeks still. There's no way you can use it in comparisons yet.

And BTW! You can get a 9800GTX for $200 now. That's 100$ less than a 4870, and only a little less performance.

I just bought a 9800 GTX KO card from eVGA for 210 US dollars. I'm sure I'll be happy with it since I'm upgrading from 2 7950GTs in SLI. I don't know about ATi's prices for the 4870 but I was pleased with the price of a competitive card for a mere slight above 200 bucks.

FACT: the 4850 is competitive, and much better than the 9800GTX, and costs 180-200.

FACT: the 4870 is competitive, and often shows better than the 260, and costs 299.

FACT: AMD has definately owned the Price/Performance with these new cards.

2 - go ati!
this card beats gtx260 and in some tests even gtx280
the price of this is really nice compared to gtx200 cards.
on performance/price ati wins by a large margin.

the market needs to go this way of cheaper cards with great performance if they want pc gaming alive.

are horrible, why would you bench the 9800gtx versus the 4870, we already know that it beats the gt260. Simple logic.

Also their benchmark graphs are ALOT harder to make sense of.

They did a full scale test. Why not? It allows a person to see results of many cards grouped together. They didn't do JUST the 9800GTX's..
