Gamer Kids Review: Diner Dash

From the review: "The original Diner Dash started out as a downloadable PC title in 2004 that became an instant hit among casual gamers. Soon after, the game was exposed to a wider audience through ports on the Nintendo DS, PSP and mobile phones. Four years later, the original has finally been released on a CD-ROM for the PC, and surprisingly it's still as fun and addictive as ever.

In Diner Dash, players take control of a woman named Flo, who has decided to quit her job as a stockbroker and open a restaurant. To start off though, Flo can only afford a few tables and a kitchen, so she acts as the restaurant's waitress and slowly saves up the money she earns to expand the business.

The game is fairly simple to play. In order to move around, players only have to point and click at an object of interest, and if there's a particular task that needs to be done, Flo will automatically do it. For example, if the object is a table full of customers who are ready to order, Flo will collect their menus and hold up an order slip to signify it needs to be taken to the chef."
