Battlefield 2 Patch Coming Soon, Announcement Monday

Planet Battlefield writes: "Our friends over at netGameRadio recently interviewed John Hargelid from the DICE Live Team and revealed some exclusive information that Battlefield 2 will be getting new maps and a patch. An announcement will be coming out this Monday, so stay tuned!

A new patch ??? besides this game had some of the worst patching ever, they ended up breaking more stuff with the patches than they fixed !! hhmmm i am curious ??

Uh, I played BF2 to death awhile ago, but quit because it was still pretty buggy and they stopped making patches for it in order to support BF2142. If they never quit on BF2, I'd still be playing it. They needed to fix the plane whores.

Thanks a lot DICE for giving us a piece of crap thats going to be Battelfield Heroes (even if it's free)... Stop that nonsense and give us Battlefield 3 with a new graphics engine, not a free game with a old graphics engine. I would not mind paying for BF 3... i bought the other Battlefield's.

I stopped playing BF2 the day I emptied a G3 mag at point blank range into some dude's back, only to have him turn around and kill me with a pistol.

I have a G3 myself, and there's no way you'd walk after even one round through you.
