2 - You'd think the developers could have improved the graphics themselves.
Huh.

PC gaming is not as expensive as people think if you buy the hardware and install it your self.

Even then, it depends on what you want out of your games. You want the highest setting in every game that gets released, then you're buying graphics cards every year. You want a decent level for a few years, then you can keep the same card a while.
PC gaming CAN be incredibly expensive.. or it can be only mildly more expensive than console gaming. Up to the user.

Yes, the PS3's 7800GT renders better than a custom version that you can run on a 9800GTX. You're right.

Grid's got a phenomenal sense of speed. But that's just like water effects: every developer has their own idea of what water should look like in their game. If you like arcade feel, NFS Underground kinda got it right. If you like physics sim, Forza2 has it nailed down too. But right now, I'm loving Grid more than any other racer out there. The turbulence you experience in that game...I think that's how speed should be implemented.

13 - GRID is a very good game.
It rightly deserves the 9/10 it got from many reviews. At first I thought the small car count was really bad but the experience with those few cars is very good, so everything balances out. With a few tweaks and many more cars and tracks, this game could shoot for the 10/10 (Not perfect but very impressive!)
