SEGA's Aliens slips into 2009

SEGA has today issued an updated release schedule which includes confirmation of the delayed release of two of its biggest titles for 2008. Both Aliens: Colonial Marines and Empire: Total War are now scheduled for release in Q1 2009.

Other titles of note on the release schedule include Golden Axe Riders for PS3 and Xbox 360 in September and Sonic Unleashed in November. Q1 2009 is looking very strong for SEGA, with Aliens and Empire: Total War joining Alpha Protocol and Madworld.

If you have no interest in the game then why the hell are you commenting? Honestly, some of you people think if you don't share your opinion with us the world will end.

This is good news for two reasons.

1.It gives Gearbox more time to work on the game.
2. It saves me some money come this fall.

I would prefer to spread it out a bit. I still have games that need to be finished. :P

Agreed. Sure i want to melt some wacko alien scum suckers with a plasma torch, but it can wait. Ive got a score to settle with an old family member, physics to manipulate, drugs to take, anti-grav ships to race, chimera to liquidate and an island to tear up.

Next year I have a war to win, aliens to exterminate, russians to invade and ferraris to buy.
