Final Fantasy XI Now Downloadable for PC

As one of the only MMOs to ever prove successful on consoles, Final Fantasy XI has also avoided some perks normally associated with PC-focused online titles. One of those missing bonuses was remedied Thursday, as Square has announced that Final Fantasy XI and its expansions are now available in disc-free, downloadable form.

4 - I lost my
Registration key so I cant make a new account for FFX they need to fix that crap once you buy the game you should be able to make accounts w.o a key or something. Its not like its f2p where they have to regulate the accounts so ppl dont pirate or anything if som1 has the game and wants to pay for the service they should be able to.

This is still a great MMO. Sadly i left it cause i had more important real life demands, but i am strongly considering returning. For 19.95 i suggest some of you how haven't played to give it a try. You won't be disappointed.

this was my first mmo i have played and loved it and hated the grinding after its 4th hour in the same party lol RedMage ftw...this game actually almost killed my ps2 since i left it on 24/7 for almost 4 months with my mule tarutaru selling at sandy... oh i miss this game...i just do not have the time anymore...tired of waking up at 4 am to feed my trees to get them ores lol ok ill stop now /bow

Really the best mmo out there imo.
But it really is demanding too much time to get anything done, which simply i don't have. Played it for 3 years hardcore, hnm's, end-game gear, sea etcetc. but its too tiring to keep doing it forever. Thats too bad though since it really is, i think, the best game i have ever played. But things has to come to and end sometime, playing the same game for 3 years straight, i think this game was worth its money ;)

In my opinion, it was good fun but no where near best ever, I haven't played the game for a long time and that was before the expansions hit but compared to other MMO's I found it quite lacking. If it's free however, you can't go too far wrong (apart from the obvious monthly fees)

For the record, I've played a good few MMO's EQ, EQ2, AO, PSU, FF11. SWG. EQ being the best (IMO)
