ZOMG!! PC gaming is dead!! it's funny how this game has pretty hefty system requirements but because the devs played their cards right, they are capturing honest paying pc gamers, The market is there, nothing is dying, you just have to focus on the right things, Crysis did a mill in less than 50 days, Sins broke 300k in less than a week with no protection at all, people are still buying high end parts like crazy, it's up to devs to not shove out unoptimized, buggy, dumbed down horse crap if they want to make any money rather than b1tching about piracy or applying draconian measures which violate gamers and leave the true scum pirates scot free

This is a PC game, no XBL needed to play. As for the 360 version,that is a whole other story and it is not even out yet.

Well mmos on the xbox 360 dont even require a gold account. You can play phantasy star and ff11 with a silver account no fees at all.

i love this game. you really feel the conan world. death, barbarians, woman, blood and magic. its all there. it has the best fighting system i have ever seen in a mmoprg. they got rid of click heal, nobrain melee dmg and 30 second buffs. i think its really an improvement. the classes are really new too. Bear shamanfor example heals wenn he makes dmg. so the more dmg you make the better the heal, thats just geniuos.

hihihi i dont work for funcom but it really is a very cool game. it has its flaws. absolutly. some buggs and some gameplay mechanics that need to be fixed. but thats why we are paying monthly.

wow sold 2 million in its first week and is rated T. Burning Crusade sold 2.4 million copies in 24 hours...

That is all I have to say about that...

Don`t get me wrong, this game will have a great mature community, but will never be as accessible as wow. And is no WoW killer, that game is still to come and won`t be for a while still.

wow had million fanbases before it came out becouse of the warcraft games. i think comparing it is no fair. sure there are conan fans but they are more the book, movie fans and no gamers. but i agree there is not such a thing as a wow killer. you cant kill 10 million people. but it is a new alternativ to wow and such. and a good one.

yeah, i didn't claim the game was breaking any sales records

the WoW killer comment was more of a (bad) joke, it wont overcome WoW

but it's a very good competitor and it really deserves the MMO crown over WoW

i just hope it manages steal the WoW fanbase in the next couple years or so

people must be getting bored of WoW by now
