I agree with this review, AOC does need a little tuning but so do all MMORPG's when they first hit the scene, hell WOW is still being patched almost every week, tinkering here and there. Funcom have already released numerous patches. on which is 631MB but which includes alot of changes. I recommend anyone wanting to try the game is ask around for a guest pass and try the game out for yourself.

It's fun, but it is rough around the edges.

The graphics are really good...but impossible to take advantage of. I have a brand new laptop with a pretty good video card and such, and I had to turn off the pixel shader just to get the FPS up from 10 to a smooth 30. It still looks loads better than WoW, but if you have a computer that's more than a year or two old, it probably won't by that much.

They need to do a lot of tweaking with the spells - there are loads of bugs. For example, I have a spell and currently when it increases in rank from 1 to 2, the mana cost increases, but the damage/range/etc remain the same. Stuff like that is happening all over the place, and you'd think that they would test things like that before releasing the game, but I guess not. I'm sure it'll all be fixed sooner rather than later.

If bugs really piss you off...wait a bit before trying this out.

im very excited =D tomorrow it starts here in europe. i cant really wait. I just need something new, im kind of tired of wow. i have tried almost every class and have been doing pvp for the few month and im just looking forward fr something new. WoW was good though.
