Graphically is nothing special but this game has a lot of potential with man different gameplay elements from space sim / shooter to classic RPG to mech combat to FPS.

3.1 - Potential is a wonderful thing
The graphics leave a lot to be desired. But the basis of any truly great game is gameplay. If this can do a Mass Effect - lite FPS and nail the gameplay I'll be interested. Graphics can always be polished closer to release.

It was originally just PC but the devs must have seen how successful Oblivion was on consoles and this is pretty much Oblivion in space......

I think even socom confrontation looks better graphically and that is not a good thing. Hope it can be atleas half as good as mass effect.

Looks good and bad place to place, looks intresting.

Love the editing the game doesn't look amazing probably a (JAB?) drawing attention.

This has an art style I can't put my finger on but it seems refreshing some how.

Good to hear and that would explain what I meant as the *bad* in my first post(painted wallpaper textures in large area's).

Its getting there thats for sure from what you say it sounds like this will have more to offer than average FPS's.

I do like the art direction, I dig the epic RPG style with the action adventure concept mix, a little work on the charactor models will be great.

I'll take a game with slightly above Xbox graphics that I can play for 120 - forever hours, with all that gameplay anyday of theweek. If I want good graphics, thats what Gears, COD4, and The Orange Box is for. Hell we suffer through mediocre graphics like Uncharted and Call of Duty 3 and still play em for the gameplay. Well this game puts all that gameplay we love, and lets us do what ever we want with it.

Looks like Universal soldier which was all about 100s of planets but pathetic graphics and gameplay. I believe it will be again, quantity over quality game.
