Alone in the Dark with online validation

TISCALI Games informed that Alone in the Dark (PC version) will be next game using mandatory online authorization, similar to one from Mass Effect.

They also discovered that Mass Effect online-authorization won't apply for every language version of game - for example in Czech, it wont contain any type of online validation (after talks with BioWare, Czech publisher managed to use only Safedisc, instead of SecuROM online) and that Russian-version of Mass Effect should use StarForce as copy-protection.

1 - No more faith in Atari
Atari is one of the companys and developers that I no longer like buying games with their label on all their games end up being flops and poorly made and dont have a clue how games pass their approval when they are terrible.

I have a bad feeling about this game.

This is proof that pc gaming really is going downhill , it may not go down the road of total death but when devs start making net connections mandatory for games which are single player truly shows that piracy isn't just killing pc gaming, it obliterating it .
I cant see devs making games of epic scale on pc anymore (unless your name is valve and you got steam to back you up )
anyone wanna buy a geforce 25 25000xtxgtx 4TB ram for a kidney?? thats the problem right there .

its amazing that people are pissed when a developer decides to protect their intellectual content from torrent noobs. every single game will be using this in some form or another within a year.
