Haze on Xbox 360 or PC Possible

Comments made by Ubisoft to SPOnG suggest that, in spite of reports to the contrary, Haze might not be eternally tied to the PS3. Responding to the suggestion that Haze will never see release on any system other than the PS3, a Ubisoft representative told SPOnG, "It's PS3 for now. That's our official line."

The words "for now" loom large. It could be that the game is a timed exclusive as many supposed when its PS3 'exclusivity' was confirmed. It's also worth remembering, as SPOnG pointed out earlier in the week, that Haze was originally planned for release on the Xbox 360 and PC as well as the PS3.

Clearly, that's by no means confirmation that the game will be released for other platforms, but PC and 360 gamers can still hold onto a little bit of hope...

Reports that Haze will never be released on any platform other than the PS3 were kicked off by ripten, which said that two Ubisoft reps had confirmed the information.

isn't that the same thing you sonyfans say when you find out a game isn't coming to the ps3. when you guys thought ME,gears of war 2,ect. the first thing you guys say is." i have no intentions of buying this game" or 360 can keep this game i have better games to play on the ps3. but as soon as a dev's says well it's going mutli-plat. you guy get excited. "oh ME2 is coming to the ps3. cause EA don't do exclusives. i bet bioware hurt sonyfans feeling when they claimed it's only coming to the 360 and the PC.

I disagree, a delay is the result of either bad project management by the publisher or serious issues at last minute caused by bad programming by the developer. A delay is never the result of someone being "good". Else it wouldn't be a "delay" as the responsible parties should not hand out release dates without any knowledge of the state of the project.

With Resistance2 and Killzone2 my appetite for FPS is already served, i guess i will skip this one.

I've been wanting Haze since it was announced at E3 06... I got sad when it was announced as PS3 exclusive but figured, I'd get a PS3 around that time anyway so now it's no biggie.. exclusive or not, I will have this title.

7 - Another Delay could do this game good

I mean if its gonna get released any time soon it's gonna come up against some big hitters like GTA 4 , MGS4 , GT Prolouge to name a few so releasing it any time soon would be pointless !
So delay it again bring it out in the autum when you could be up against Killzone 2 and Ressistance 2 !! or maybe not !! Just delay it again till cristmas and hope for the best

7.1 - I think this game is doomed regardless

It needed to come out last year sometime, IMO. PS3 has quite a few high profile releases coming up between now and Christmas. The timing for the release has be right. Last summer probably would have been great for this game. 2008 is looking a bit crowded now, especially when you take into consideration multi-console owners who will be looking at some 360/Wii games too.

If Ubi wanted to make this game multiplatform, then it should have been that way from start. This game will live or die by its PS3 fanbase. Putting it out months later on the 360 under the looming shadow of Gears of War 2 would be a waste of resources.

Better make sure its a AAA game when its released Ubi. PS3 owners are focused on Warhawk, COD4, Vegas, MGS4, Resistance 2, and Killzone 2 for their current and future shooter needs.

The only shooter competing around the time Haze releases is probably Vegas2 and MGS. Vegas is March, MGS April (?) and, well Haze Mai. R2 and KZ2 later anyhow. I think it fits perfectly in the release plan. Oh, BTW, summer might be interesting with Force Unleashed.

Maybe they should worry about releasing it at all before they worry about releasing it on multiple platforms. I mean for a game that has been delayed so much you would think they would be more focused on getting in stores instead of worrying about what's next.

If i remember rightly, this game was supposedly in development for both PS3 and 360, untill it was anounced exclusive, so a PC or 360 release some time in the future wouldnt suprise me.

Though i think id give it a miss, id rather stick with Killzone 2, Cod4 and Gears 2

Omicron, 360 owners wanted it just as much as ps3 owners did when it was multi-platform. So don't kid yourself. When it became exclusive was when Many (not all) 360 owners all of a sudden said the game sucked.

And on the side note, the open zone was made for 10 year olds like yourself. Try posting there more often if you're going to act the way you do

I would buy this game if I did'nt have so many other games on my "list of ps3 games to buy" like mgs4,resistance 2, and gta4.

Lachance Haze can go on the xbox360 because Free Radical is'nt doing what Kojima and Insomaniac is doing which is using atleast MOST of the PS3's blu ray power.

any xbox360 game is posssible on the PS3, but not all Ps3 games are possible on the xbox360.

Haze is one of those games possible on any other next gen platform or pC.

I was never intersted in Haze for my PC, 360 and PS3 tbh. The game really does not look that great, graphics wise it still looks generic, poor level design and the gameplay looked ok. It just didn't have that feeling of being "HEY I'M HAZE, HELL YEH" etc you know the feeling...

It seems the pos3 cant hold on to any exclusives due to the abyssmal software sales it has. Not only that but 3rd parties are even starting to abandon the pos3 with the recent announcement of prey 2 being 360/pc only. I expect more ps3 exclusives to go multiplat and more 3rd parties to drop full support of that garbage of a console.

Actually software is selling more per unit on the PS3 now than the 360 is. The figures for software sold just look higher on the 360 because there is a hell of a lot more 360 consoles out there.

The don't see oh one console is selling more per unit than another.

You know why. if there was a console that sold 2 machines and 1 game and another that sold 10 machines and 4 games do you think the developers gonna say well 50% of the console owners are buying games compared to 40%?

No they will say we sold 4 times as many on that console. We made 4 times the profit on that console.

Keep twisting and spinning facts so dumb people believe what you want them to but if you have to distort the facts you have a very weak point to make in the first place.
