Identifying "fanboys" in the wild

Sure to ruffle a few feathers, but nothing short of painfully accurate, almost everyone will find a little something of themselves in this how-to guide about identifying people that love something a little too much.

Not everyone is a fanboy, I like to think that I can look at everything objectively and although I may have a favorite game I don't expect to everyone to like it as much as I do. I'm just looking for debate and logical arguments. The only time I take shots at people is if they are making dumb statements and just on here trying to make people angry. i wanna play good games LATER too,lol. The only game i would be jealous would be gears and bioshock to some extent. that's just 2 games. We have resistance and uncharted. Halo is for owners who had owned halo2 or bought the console for gears1 and gotten into hype for halo into buying it, so that game is not included. To the RROD issue, will u get microsoft to fix your console again after its guarantee expires--oh poor you. Once the multiplatform issues are resolved, ps3 brand name will skyrocket the sales by itself. One argument i do have aganist xbox is that HARDWARE. You can't swap it, so people with basic, premimum, arcade are screwed over. wifi is another thing.
Elite is the only competition left with ps3.

oh yeah forgot: ps3 is going to excel, not only because of games, but with innovation using eyetoy (so much support for it like 3d card battle game, wii-remote 3d thing, TANK WARS), Little big planets create, share features, Home (whether you like it or not, it's a innovation in some sense.)

AND any xbox fan who makes a dumbass comment about ps3 cost more than 360 is a dumbass. You get wifi and blue-player for $50 more, so it's shouldn't affect the sales. I mean come-on, ipod used to cost like 400 bucks. It's a music player!

Also I would like to add that ps3 software are not in par with xbox because ps3 owners had ps2. WE were used to paying cheap 20 bucks games for the last 2 years when playing games on ps2. Xbox owners on the other hand had to dump their system, and get use to buying 60 bucks games for next-gen gaming.

this article is comic genius. unlike many other here, i am not trapped in the cage of fanboyism and slave worship towards a company. Although i favour the ps3, i am a more freelance person who accepts the fact all consoles have good games, and enjoy them when i have the opportuntiy to play them. The purpose of gaming is having fun.

way to resolve this issue is if rockstar puts cross platform play between ps3 and 360 GTA4 with 100 players online. A tournament with 50 of the best and most die hard sony fans against their xbox 360 counterparts. whichever side has the last man standing gets his beloved console exclusivity for GTA5.

I'm a 360 fanboy but I'm not very fond of the Halo games (takes cover from flying keyboards)

I even like the multiple account using PS3 Droids, because their easy targets. They all think gaming started with the PS2 and tend to forget about Atari, Sega, Nintendo, and DOS. The only time they love MS is when the can't get a game on the PS3, so they go for the PC version.

Fanboys make the competitive gaming world go around. We are no more different than a fan waiting for Metallica, Snoop, or Pink Floyd tickets in the rain. We are the same as a sports fan, movie fan, or comic book fan. Fans spend the money and draw the attention to somthing and make it more mainstream. All you others out there with that "can't we all just get along" hippy mentality, are nothing but a$$ kissing ho's, that don't mind giving a head to get people to like you.

-LMAO. I actually know a droid whose first console was a PS2. he's never owned anything other than a PS2 and a PS3. He's such a fanboy. It's pathetic. That would be just as bad as only owning an xbox and a 360. Both pathetic groups of fanboys.
