I have to agree up to a point, it was great fun, although the control sucked badly on the PC, they should have worked a bit more on that and a bit more mission variety wouldn't have gone amiss. However I will definately be checking out Just Cause 2 on the PC when it comes out.

I don't like the new main character. The last one reminded me of the guy from the El Pollo Loco commercials. I hope the game is overly vibrant (crazy blue sky) like the first one, and that they really work on the whole stunt feature. The first one was too shallow, but there definitely was some awesome moments

Just Cause is great, especially since gamestop sells a used copy for $15

and even by todays standards (at least mine) Just Cause still looks great.

I agree the 360 version was/is very pretty visually especialy considering it was the studios first game on their own engine. Can't wait for the sequel.

The first one was mindless fun, only marred by repetitive tasks, crappy characters, and a paper thin story. If they rectify both of those then we have another open world contender.

I agree with the points you made. They really need to add more variety to the side quests (even if that means making less of them) as well as add variety to the towns/cities (they all look the same!), cars, etc.

I did try the DEMO though..very early on. I admit the game did look good, and looking better.

Anyone here ever watched "The King of Kong"? Great documentary. Steve Wiebe, your ordinary guy takes down a Villian.

Almost done with Eternal Sonata..I need another jrpg soon..

The different and more unique sandbox games are among my faves. Never been a big fan of GTA, Saint's Row and gangsta' games much.

Original was fun and arcadish but was rather flawed. Still, it's great to see it back and the graphics are insanely improved. Awesome find and comparison.

There's no doubt that the second instalment looks a lot better, as has been said this can be expected, i just hope they improve the gameplay and make it more varied, i couldn't get into Just Cause first time around.
