THQ scraps Juiced and Stuntman franchises

THQ has today announced its decision "not to pursue its Juiced and Stuntman intellectual properties".

Both franchises saw releases in 2007, with Juiced 2: Hot Import Nights and Stuntman: Ignition each releasing across multiple platforms. Although not receiving universal acclaim both titles were not without merit, Stuntman in particular proving great addictive fun for high-score junkies.

Im surprised they dropped juice, although it was poor it sold quite well.

Stuntman however sold virtually nothing, so its not surprising.

This sucks. Stuntman was good fun, albeit occasionally frustrating.

Does this mean the IP is available for other developers to purchase, or has it simply been scrapped?

im happy that juiced got canceled(wasnt really that good), but im suprised they cancelled stuntman. there were many people including myself who enjoyed that series

stuntman was good. Much like the first driver was good. Sometimes sequels just get worse. Im sad to see an origonal title like stuntman go...

The Stuntman games just weren't that fun to play, so, i'm glag that is done!

Juiced should have just stayed with the "Street Racing Syndicate" name. SRS was a decent game that they could have built on, but they decided to take it in a different direction... and we see what that got them!

There are a lot of great racing franchises already, so these will not be missed!

18 - Stuntman was pretty good..

A new game could have perfected it, so that's dumb.

And it was never just a racing game, but a trial and error arcade game. I think some hated it for the wrong reasons.
