AMD, Nvidia release drivers for BioShock

Both AMD and Nvidia have released new drivers that help to ensure optimal compatibility with 2K Games' must-play title.

AMD's driver update is available as a hotfix and installs on top of your existing driver. It's said to fix stuttering, missing surfaces and/or display corruption in the game. You can download the update for both 32-bit and x64 versions of Windows XP and Windows Vista from an AMD knowledge base page.
