Star Wars: The Old Republic Tatooine Screenshots, Concept Art

Tatooine, the old stomping grounds of Luke Skywalker and Obi-Wan Kenobi, will be a playable planet in Star Wars: The Old Republic. BioWare released some screenshots, concept art, and backstory on the remote desert world.

I have very fond memories of star wars galaxies. I'm very excited for this game.

I do wish they had more character options though, it's an mmorpg so to be limited to combat seems kind of weird, swg had ents and crafters ect.

The classes seem like they were designed with PVP in mind. Each Republic class has a rough equivalent in the Empire. I imagine they'll have crafting, though, even if there isn't a specific class for the job.

star wars galaxies just had so much variety and so much to do from pvp to RP and I loved it. Sadly the community crumbled and died. I'm just wanting this to give me the feeling swg did.

If they add another planet I think Naboo would make sense, maybe let us explore the ruins of Taris... :o would be a nice expansion pack or an add on now that I think of it.

Anyways, I'm sure Bioware won't disappoint. ^^
