Hacked DX10 could mean Halo 2 on XP?

Gaming Revolution or hoax?

There are rumours floating around following a blog report by Lead Alky engineer Cody Brocious that he has developed libraries which allow Microsoft DX10 games to run under other operating systems including Windows XP, negating the need for an expensive and, some would say, unnecessary OS update to vista.

He even claims that forthcoming Vista only titles; Shadowrun and Halo 2 can be bought through their site and they will throw in free of charge, their initial release of the Alky Compatibility Libraries.
