Blizzard Responds to LAN Controversy

Since Blizzard originally announced that Starcraft 2 was not supporting LAN the gaming community has been in an uproar with petitions reaching almost 100,000 signatures. There have been various articles taking different sides and others maintaining neutral such as Starcraft 2 and the LAN Controversy. Every gamer has their opinion, but where exactly do the boys in blue stand?
