Lich King retakes US PC chart lead

Blizzard's mega-MMO World of Warcraft has seen its latest expansion, Wrath of the Lich King - which was released in November last year - climb back to the top of the US PC sales chart as the release spike for Empire: Total War fell away.

That's according to the latest data from NPD covering the week ending March 28, which also revealed that the average sales price for the title was USD 33 compared to Empire's USD 46.

The Sims 2: Double Deluxe continued its seemingly endless run in the chart in third, the first of two Sims 2 titles, while the World of Warcraft Battle Chest took fourth place.
