The Godfather, much like Watchmen, is one of those "how the hell can this become a game" type of licenses. Yet, somehow, EA turned Francis Ford Coppola's classic film into an open-world action game (albeit one filled with lots of "insert player into key cutscenes à la Forrest Gump" moments). The developers at EA Redwood Shores felt that the core combat of Godfather was one of the strengths of the game, and for The Godfather 2, they aim to further refine the combat, while also giving players the whole "feel like a Don" experience that was missing in the previous game.
