Mythic Remedies Crediting Issues

Edge writes: "Warhammer Online developer Mythic will be implementing a new online system that will give credit where credit's due.

According to the latest International Game Developers Association newsletter, "Mythic will create an online database listing the name and title of everyone who contributed to a project, regardless of current employment status.

"Additionally, the studio will make best efforts to provide this information for its previous online games."

Mythic general manager Mark Jacobs came under fire in August for saying only employees who were part of Warhammer Online's launch team would be listed in the title's credits. Such a policy would leave former employees who contributed to the product in a bind when trying to tell new employers of their work history."
