Wrath of the Lich King World Progression with Phase Technology

This is epic and awesome. Using Phase-technology, Blizzard has done something quietly amazing to progress the story of World of Warcraft forward like thousands of fans have requested in the past four years. The possibilities with this new technology integrated into World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King, and future expansions are unlimited.

Imagine everyone, low and high level players, in Undercity having their merry daily activities, while at the same moment hundreds of players are also in Undercity phased from normal view ... sharing the same time/space fighting Varimathras and thousands of demons and Apothecary.

That's what's going on. The story is progressing seamlessly without affecting low level players. The world changes dynamically, and transparently with this phase-technology.

Be alert that what you are about to witness is the phase-technology in action, but also a massive SPOILER from Wrath of the Lich King beta. Thrall and Sylvanas come to Undercity to reclaim it from Varimathras and the Apothecary Putress.

If you were hesitating whether to buy Wrath of the Lich King or not ... what you will see in the following article will make you drool and wish to be the first in line at a Game shop near you on November 13th ...
