TPCG review: Shadowgrounds Survivor

It's often been said that a simple concept makes for the best gameplay, and Shadowgrounds Survivor is a living testament to that rule.

The sequel to 2006's Shadowgrounds, a top-down shooter in the same vein that failed to make a blip on most gamers' radars, Survivor takes the formula of its predecessor and amps everything up a notch. Adding extra characters, weapons, and a new RPG-style levelling system, there are plenty of new additions. Thankfully, though, for the most part, the gameplay remains exactly the same.
