Sequel to Imperium Romanum announced

Kalypso Media and Haemimont Games have announced a sequel to Imperium Romanum is in the works, with lots of updates promised.

"Imperium Romanum was the first top ten title of Kalypso and we are very proud to have entered a longterm agreement with Haemimont Games," said Simon Hellwig, managing director of Kalypso Media.

"The studio is one of the most professional developers in Europe and we are sure to further the brand by releasing the sequel next year."

The sequel to the hit city-building strategy title allows the player to take the role of a Roman patrician, whose ultimate goal is to become the governor of Rome.
