Cryptic Studios Working Star Trek Online? Looks Like a Yes!

Ripten's Dylan Duarte writes:

"For those who don't know, Star Trek Online was a Star Trek MMORPG being developed in 2004 by Perpetual Entertainment. On January 14th, 2008, Perpetual announced that it was no longer working on the game and that the license and assets had been transferred to an unnamed San Francisco Bay Area based game developer. For a while now, it's been rumored that that developer is Cryptic Studios, the developers of City of Heroes and City of Villians. Now it looks even more likely!"
