VG247: Clint Hocking, creative director Far Cry 2, has claimed that Far Cry 2 will lead the shooter genre out of the dark ages and into the light.

"The time for running through dark corridors and blasting demons with plasma rifles is kind of coming to an end," he said, speaking at the Ubidays press conference in Paris.
