Capcom has revealed a new weapon for Lost Planet Colonies, the flame launcher, "its like a rocket launcher, but, you know, for flames."
Capcom's Seth Killian detailed the Flame Launcher in a video on Capcom's blog. To sum up, while players had to use a grenade or dig using B to find items buried the snow in the original game, the flame launcher can be used to melt snow "almost instantly."
In addition the flame launcher is "pretty effective" to take down structures and it does take them down a lot faster than normal weapons. It also does good damage on people but you may have to "keep them cooking for a while."
