IGN: Saga Review

Ultimately, it costs you nothing but your time (and bandwidth) to play around with the basics of Saga, so if it sounds intriguing to you, it's definitely worth creating an account and giving it a try. But unless you have a vastly different experience than IGN did (or are just starved for entertainment) you won't find the early stages of the game compelling enough that you want to buy in for the whole game.

Viewing the RTS element of the game in isolation, the overall tactical action is a bit bland despite the fact that the fantasy setting gives a nice variety to the troop types. Combine that with a poorly documented empire game and unsteady MMO architecture and it becomes even less appealing.
