Penny Arcade's first actual videogame, Penny Arcade Adventures Episode 1: On The Rain-Slick Precipice Of Darkness, is nearly complete, about a year and a half after it was announced back at the end of ought six. Chris sat down with the folks from Hothead Games earlier this week for the first-ever demo of the gameplay.

PAAE1OTRSPOD (hereafter PAA, or "that game") blends old-school point-and-click adventure gameplay with RPG combat. Although Game|Life wasn't able to get hands-on with the game, one of the designers did a detailed run-through of a great deal of the game's opening sequences.

And it's hilarious.
