1 - Does that mean they'll be putting out a
GBA Slot Flash Cartridge [or something to insert a black SD card] because full games?! that's my only guess if they are doing that.

mhh, I guess we will see the virtual console soon on the wii, yea we will possibly see a GBA flash Cartridge, that would make me think positive about the wii on it not being a fad.

Do you stream the games off the Wii onto the DS
or is it actual downloading.
I bet they are gonna sell blank 1gb or 512mb DS Slot-1 Cartriges then sell the games cheap on Wii Shop Channel. But this is good.
Next up: THEY NEED TO ANNOUCE SUPER SMASH BROS DS

I'm still waiting for the option to play VC games on the DS. It can't be that hard to format a VC game to play off a SD card.

6 - new to me....
i had known about the notion of making the wii into a demo download station but full games is new to me. They would definately need some type of plug in adapter to hold the downloaded game. I got a 1gb sd card in my wii but I think it sux that you cant store VC games on it (for now anyway).
There are a few other things I read that the wii (might) get like media support through a media channel (music dl, video dl) and possible external drive support for hdd or flash drives with avi,wmv playback.

Streaming games would be awesome.
And its time they update the firmware to use the Wii as a Hotspot.
i dont have Wifi, im wired.( i have the Wifi usb stick but ill be damned keeping my pc).
Live data streaming would be amazing for full games...although loading times could be long then...

11 - geometry wars....
I am sure it isnt the first but it sure shows potential. Get the wii version and you can dl a full version of retro evolved for the ds. It is what made me pick up the wii version over the ds only version. Now we need a ds smash bros and maybe a ds paper mario. I hope there is some kind of wii / ds connection for the new mario kart.

this sounds cool i think nintendo should delve deeper into making links between the wii and ds just like sony are doing- my idea is a game where you have to use the ds to finish a game on the wii like sections of it can only be done with the touch pad using a remote play function, it would boost sales and would be an interesting game- what do you think?

There will be no flash cartridge. The demo games will most likely be transfered by download play, that is the Wii starts transmitting it, and you select download play on your DS. Remember the DS has 4MB internal memory, which considering the largest games are 64MB, is enough for a few levels (a lot are 8 or 16MB). For larger full games, it's likely you will need the RAM pack that comes with the Opera browser that adds 10MB to the system memory, so 14MB in total.
The downside is that when you power off, you lose it and have to redownload. A way round that is to just shut the lid when you are finished which will keep power to the RAM and thus keep the game until you turn it off or it runs out of battery (when it gets low, just charge it. It's possible to never turn your DS off in theory)
As much as I'd love a flash cart and a DS virtual console where I could play SNES, MegaDrive, Game Gear and Gameboy games, I don't see it happening. Don't forget, this is Nintendo we are talking about, who are Jew tight with money. They won't even allow USB saving or running content from flash cards on the Wii, so don't get your hopes up about something like a flash cart.
Well actually, there is one cost effective way to do that. They could release an adaptor of sorts. A cart that fits in to the GBA slot, but you have to put your own supplied SD card in (or micro SD). That would keep manufacturing costs down, and those that want to do it on the cheap can get a small flash card, those that want to go to town can get 2GB or whatever.

Why don't they focus on the Wii?
Did they plan on the Wii just being a DS accessory? Its like the Wii is just a Docking station.
The DS has a browser, why not allow downloads to the DS THROUGH the DS. What about using the Wii to download... Wii games. :O dun dun duhhhn
I'm all for the 2 systems being able to communicate with each other, but it just seems foolish to allow one system to have downloads and not the other? Obviously the infrastructure is there. Are they afraid that if the Wii allowed demo's, that no one would buy all those stupid games?

They are allowing Wii to download Wii games, in the form of Wiiware later on..? So, that part is going to come at least.
