Remember Ubisoft's Imagine series for the DS? Sure ya do! According to French publisher Ubisoft, in-house research showed that pre-teen girls were interested in things like fashion, cooking and caring for animals and babies (and probably baby animals). More on what girls really like after the jump.

Truly awesome ridiculousness. as a "grown-up girl gamer" I think they should tack on "Imagine: Paying Bills" and "Imagine: Doing Laundry" and then bundle the whole series into "Imagine: Everything You Have to Do Every Day for the Rest of Your Life". YAY!
And for the guy that made these games: "Imagine: Sleeping on the Couch". ;)
@Syko: LOL.

1.2 - Sometimes people DO fit the stereotypes...
In our family we gave a my son(8) and daughter(3) a neutral environment and let them pick what they liked without forcing "girl" or "boy" themes on them.
They both like video games, super heroes, cars & trucks etc, but the girl still likes pink clothing and dolls.
She also loves robots and monsters and the boy will sometimes sleep with his sister's pink care bear.
We bought her a baby doll only after she started playing "mommy" with a balled up blanket.
She would love these games and maybe my son would too :-)

no denying it, my niece and nephew like babies and trucks respectively. I, however, would rather not play games that mirror my day-to-day life. Barring, of course, the possibility that my day-to-day life would suddenly include oblivion-like adventures or gunfights from which I could respawn.

How come pleasing your man isn't part of the girl video game experience? I mean what could be more important than yet really, god knows I pay all the bills around here....
