What it shows is of the 3 most wanted Next Gen games, Blu Dragon is the only exclusive coming out any time soon and its for the 360. This is in Japan folks. Thats pretty good. And Resident Evil is a port from 360 to ps3. So if you couple that with Blu Dragon.....2 most wanted games IN JAPAN for next gen consoles are coming to the 360. Final Fantasy games for next gen consoles aren't coming out any time soon. lol....At least a year or more away from release. Thats good news for Microsoft. They are having their problems there but there is a bright side coming for Japan/Microsoft.

in Japan is good news for MS. We already know how japanese market is. As I said before I certainly do not think its a Hardware issue why its not selling.

If it was the United States and MS was doing as bad then I would say give it up MS. Market penetration will take time.

It's like learning to talk a brand new language over there when you've been talking the same one your whole life. All japanese have known is SEGA, PS, and NINTENDO the last 20+ years.

The ps3 will follow the same path that the ps2 did in terms of their games being dev at a slow pace and seeing the true potential of the system about a year after the true potebtial of the 360!! You guys think that I love to bash sony and that`s not true!! I`ve stated numerous times that I will be getting one when the price drops to around $400 for the premium ps3!! The reason I flame the ps3 is simply because of Mr. Ken`s arrogance and lies!!!! I`ll also say again that I`m only gonna get this system for Tekken, the best fighter out there!!! EVEN BETTER THAN DOA-4!!!! I`ll even get other titles if they appeal to me! But I won`t however let any company force me into buying something that I don`t want or need!!! If only you ps3 fanboyz would hold out on buying that big azz console until they drop their price, they wouldn`t be trying this sh!t in the first place!!! It`s Sony`s ignorance that`s getting them all the bad news and flames across america!! Just be open minded and unbiased and look at this whole thing from the outside!! That's the problem with these Japanese polls, they suck ass!

It's all RPG's! There's no other titles there apart from RPG's, MGS and Resi!

What about Lost Planet, Crysis, Halo 3, Fonza, Gran Turismo, Mario Galaxy, Gears of War, Heavenly Sword etc?

If it's not MGS, Resi, FF or a stupid crappy looking Robot game, the Japanese public are not interested!

What I am suprised about is that Virtua Fighter 5 isn't on that list! The Japanese go mad for that game!

No doubts about it, before PS3, PS2 is the way to go ! Can't believe its still getting some of the finest there is to offer. I just wanted to add for the American and European fans that there are some great non-rpg titles are coming this way that has already been launched in Japan, they are like 'Yakuza' and 'Okami', while 'Rogue Galaxy' being an RPG is a far cry from the strict boundries of the genre, those who have played dragon-quest-8 and dark-cloud-2 for the PS2 know that, its Level-5's style that they deal RPGs in an action/adventure approach, the entire fighting system is on the fly without first teleporting to another area, and as they have mentioned it before...Rogue Galaxy is their biggest project yet, with a 'seamless world' for the very first time using Sony's dynamic loading approach as was shown in god of war, Colossus, Primal, Jak and Ghost-Hunter etc. PLUS to this are the entire catalog of traditional RPGs that are much more than traditional now, with Valkyrie profile, Seiken Densetsu 4 and FF-XII !

regardless of how many they sell , we americans do play alot of japanese games as they really don't play ours. It's a culture thing.

Developers outside japan are more open with taking risk with different genre as opposed to japanese developers, full of 2-20 sequals.
Game developing in Japan hasn't changed much in 10 years. Just thier Hardware which can pump out more pixels.(exculding nintendo).

I see nintendo trying to add to the gaming experience and xbox 360 with thier Live network. I'm really not sure what the PS3 is trying to bring?(besides more pixels per square inch). As long as japan feed them Rpgs then all is good. Thats just how it is.
